Staying Positive is the Key to Living a Healthy Life

Hey guys I know I rarely come on my blog but I promise to make efforts now. How is everyone doing? All my Naija people how are you guys handling the change of election date... Not very good, I know right! But my prayer is that God gives us the best individual to rule our great country Nigeria.

                         
                         

Now back to the main ish for today, I came across this photo while surfing the Internet today and it really got to me because at some point in our lives we are all going through something which we may be able to share with out friends and family and others we can't even voice out to anyone and just suffer in pain and hurt... at times it leads to frustration which then moves on to the most deadliest "DEPRESSION" I hate that word so much it hurts me in my soul. Never let your situation take you to the point where you cannot speak to anyone and just die slowly in pain and hurt and wonder if you will have get through this phase. I'm not a fortune teller and I don't see visions, neither can I predict the future but I know one thing for sure "It's Temporary" so smile and believe you will survive the storms ahead of you.


Below are a few tips I suggest can help get over whatever it is you are going through

- Be strong and go out more often
- Avoid staying by yourself especially when the mood-swing strikes
- Call a friend or two and talk about anything and everything
- Join a worship centre
- enrol in a fitness class 
- Volunteer and help others, this is a helpful way to deal with depression as you tend to understand what others are going through and realise yours is just a tip of the ice-berg compared to theirs and also help them get over their situations.

I hope this helps and build the strength you need to get back up.
